Health Minister Dr. Manaouda Malachie has called out health workers over the circulation of a video of the corpse of late Cardinal Tumi on social media.
“In these moments of compassion, following the death of Cardinal Tumi, it is unacceptable that images that violate his privacy should be broadcast,” the Minister stated.
“An investigation has been ordered to establish responsibility for this,” he announced.
“Our heartfelt condolences to the Catholic Church. RIP!” the minister added.
Christian Cardinal Tumi died last night in a health facility in Douala.
