Cameroon: Journalists clad in black to pay homage to slain colleague, Martinez Zogo

Several journalists in newrooms across Cameroon turned out in black today to mourn their deceased colleague , Martinez Zogo.

The Amplitude FM station manager and radio host was discovered brutally murdered on Sunday, January 22, 2023 in Yaounde.

Reacting to the incident, the Cameroon Journalists Trade Union (SJNC) called on all media practitioners to appear in black today January 25, 2023.

The staff of renowned media houses like Info Tv, Balafon Radio and others could be spotted in black at their various workplaces today.

During the events today, the journalists clad in black also called for Justice to be served Samuel Wazizi, a TV broadcast Journalist who was killed some years ago.

The Buea- based TV host was killed while a military detention.
