Cameroon: Muslims across the country to celebrate Eid al-Fitr today

The National Moon Crescent Commission in Cameroon has issued a statement, announcing the celebration of Eid al-Fitr, also known as feast of the Ramadan, this Friday, April 21st, 2023.

This is after the moon was sighted yesterday April 20, marking the end of fasting and the celebration of the Ramadan feast, the commission said.

“The National Moon Crescent Commission wishes all Muslims a happy Feast of Ramadan and prays Allah the Almighty to accept their good deeds, to consolidate peace, national unity and prosperity in Cameroon,” stated the release
