The National Youth President for the National Front for the Salvation of Cameroon (FSNC) Abbo Yep has been arrested for sexually abusing a 9-year-old girl.
The youth leader of Issa Tchiroma’s political party who equally doubled as the departmental delegate for employment and vocational training was arrested yesterday June 8 in Ngaoundere, Adamawa region of Cameroon.
Reports from local sources confirm that he was transported by gendarmerie officers on board a Sanili motorcycle after which he was remanded in custody.
It is equally reported that the delegate attempted to buy the silence of the young girl’s family with the sum of 1 million Francs but they rejected his offer and insisted on getting justice for their abused child.
The victim is currently receiving medical attention while many are clamouring for justice to be served.
