The Senior Divisional Officer, SDO, for Ndian, Nwafua Lawrence Forwang says all schools in the area have been disinfected to keep students and pupils safe as they return to school.
Nwafua Lawrence Forwang visited some classrooms this Monday where he distributed face masks to school kids and staff.
He says he was acting upon instructions from President Paul Biya.
Ndian, situated in the restive South West region, is one of the areas hardest hit by the Anglophone crisis.
The population is now faced with two significant challenges: the armed conflict which has kept kids from classrooms for four years and the COVID-19 pandemic.
