Cameroon: President Biya’s Personal Medical Doctor Dies

Colonel Etoundi Marius passed away earlier today 22nd of May in Yaounde. Reports say the personal doctor to President Paul Biya allegedly died of Covid-19.

He was laid to rest in his native Konabeng in Okala – Lekié Division of the Centre Region moments after his death.

Colonel Etoundi is one of many high profile persons in the country that has passed away in the past days.

With over 4,000 cases, Cameroon remains one of Africa’s most hit countries.

It has also recorded over 100 deaths from the virus since the outbreak of the pandemic.
