Cameroon Renaissance Movement decries harassment of militants by security forces

The Cameroon Renaissance Movement, CRM political party is calling on the international community to bear witness of intimidation and harassment of her party militants by the security service in Cameroon.

In a release signed by the Secretary General of the party, Bar. Ndong Christopher, he says militants and sympathisers who turned out on the 26th of February in Deido Douala to listen to the message of the president of the party Maurice Kamto were harrased.

To the party, security men and women should stay clear of all political activities and stop intimidating Cameroonians who have freely choose to militate with the CRM party.

CRM leader, Maurice Kamto on his return to the country through Douala on February 26 had received a warm welcome as party members and sympathisers turned up in their thousands.
