Cameroon: Award-winning Movie Producer, Kang Quintus, unveils another epic film, Nganu

Award-winning Cameroonian movie producer and lead actor of The Fisherman’s Diary, Kang Quintus, has released the official poster of another blockbuster film he has produced titled Nganu.



Kang released the official poster of Nganu on Saturday. The poster has been trending on social media since then. It comes after several months of work.


The new movie Nganu features some Cameroonian celebrity musicians like KO-C, Blaise B, Askia alongside Hollywood star and Hotel Rwanda movie lead actor, Hakeem Kae-Kazim.



The movie also features veteran Cameroonian actor Alenne Menget and blogger Nabil Fongod, alongside child actor Musing Daniels and other actors like Azah Melvine, Rigobert Tamwa, Gabriel Nanjip, Ayuk Gareth and Roger Brice.



Upon its release, Kang’s Nganu will become the first Cameroonian movie to feature a Hollywood actor.


In a post in November last year, Quintus said Nganu was coming like a “tornado” . He had added in another post that he had never been excited about a movie like he has been with Nganu.


His first movie The Fisherman’s Diary released in 2020 became the first Cameroonian film to feature on the high-class American movie streaming platform, Netflix.


He said the movie won 97 awards in different countries and was nominated for the prestigious OSCAR awards in America.
