Cameroonian Authorities Call For Collaboration As AFCON Disruption Fears Heighten

The Minister of Territorial Administration has publicly portrayed a bad face of Cameroon, which the government had struggle to hide, while asking regional governors do contrary.

Paul Atanga Nji made a statement after opening the bi – annual conference of regional governors, today, December 9th 2021, in Yaounde, indicating that 40% of Cameroon is facing great security issues.

With the South West, North West, Far North and East regions all facing security threats, mouths have been wagging over the possibility of a smooth AFCON hosting.

Many wonder how Minister Paul Atanga Nji expects Cameroonians to be welcoming, polite and well behaved during the AFCON as he requested during the conference, given that people are suffering brutality and murder on a daily basis.

Some have expressed the need for the minister to rather call on the forces of law and order to exercise restraint, given some of their latest actions.
