Talented Cameroonian beautician, Akam Adel, emerged victorious at the Professional Beauty GCC Awards in the United Arab Emirates, winning the Eyelash Technician of the Year.
Adel, who is based in the United Arab Emirates, clinched the esteemed title after showcasing her exceptional skill and artistry in eyelash application.
The native of Ngie, in Cameroon’s North West Region, faced stiff competition from five other finalists but she impressed the judges with her expertise and dedication to her craft, and secured the top spot in her category.
Her win at the Professional Beauty GCC Awards underscores her talent and commitment to excellence within the thriving beauty landscape of the GCC region.
Born and raised in Ngie, Akam Adel’s journey to becoming an award-winning eyelash technician and beauty massage therapist began with her academic pursuits in biochemistry during secondary school.
However, her passion for beauty eventually led her down a different path, where she discovered her true calling and embarked on a successful career in the beauty industry.
Now based in Dubai, Akam Adel has established herself as a leading figure in the beauty world, garnering recognition for her exceptional skills and dedication to her craft.
The Professional Beauty GCC Awards, renowned for celebrating outstanding talent and innovation in the beauty industry, attracted a record-breaking number of entries this year, with 693 submissions across various categories.
