Cameroonian Comedian, Samy Lenwr will be buried in December

The late Cameroonian comedian, Benjamin Fefoa Mfegue, popularly known as Samy Lenwr, is scheduled to be laid to rest in his hometown of Nkolandom this December, according to an announcement from his family.

The family’s official program outlines a memorial service for the adored comedian who tragically passed away in a car accident on July 6, 2023, while en route to Kribi in the South Region, from December 7 to December 9.

Samy Lenwr’s untimely demise sent shockwaves through the country’s entertainment sector, still reeling from the loss of fellow comedian and actor Cabrel Nanjip.

Expressing their appreciation, Lenwr’s family extended heartfelt gratitude to his fans, bloggers, the media, and the public for their unwavering support during this difficult period.

In addition to his role as a web comedian, Samy Lenwr was also an actor, photographer, and producer.

His passing occurred shortly after the tragic death of the well-known Cameroonian comedian Cabrel Nanjip Nyamton, who also lost his life in a road accident during a trip to Yaounde. Cabrel’s burial is still pending.
