Cameroonian footballer’s career stagnates as agent seizes his passport

As paradoxical as it may sound, a Cameroonian professional footballer has had his career significantly stalled as his agent has refused to release his international passport.

Landry Manga Abessolo, 20, was released some time ago by his Greek club AE Aspropyrgos as a free agent due to his huge wages which the club could not handle.

The youngster, reports say, has recieved many offers from several French clubs to join them, but unfortunately can’t make the move due to the fact that his former agent, Maxim Nana has refused to release his new international passport.

This is currently acting as a huge impediment to his progress as the several offers coming towards him might be withdrawn sooner than later.

The exact reason for his former agent’s decision to withhold his passport is not yet known.

It remains unclear if the agent plans on releasing the passport to the player anytime soon.

The agent is yet to react to the allegations.
