Cameroonian International scores twice as BSC Young Boys beat Lugano 3-2 to lift Swiss Cup

By Tambe Peter Ayuk

Cameroonian striker Jean-Pierre Nsamé scores a brace and gifts his club BSC Young Boys the Swiss Cup which took place today at the Stade De Suisse

Young Boys beat Lugano 3-2 in the finals of this competition with Nsamé scoring 2 goals out of the 3 secured by his team.

Nsamé opened the scoreline in the 20th minute of the game and doubled his tally just before the break at the 45+3 minute. A goal from Mattia Bottani in the 53rd minute gave Lugano hopes of getting back into the game.

Young Boy’s Meshak Elia put the game beyond reach with an 85th-minute screamer and a response from Renato Steffen 2 minutes later, was not enough to change the outcome of the game.

Nsamé was not called up by the Indomitable Lions Head Coach Rigobert despite his Incredible form. It is not clear why this was the case given his performance this season which has seen his club end at the top of the Swiss Super League.
