Cameroonian Magistrate Ngwana Yanic empowers youth with free job market guide book

Cameroonian Magistrate Ngwana Yanic Zozong, a distinguished legal professional and prolific writer, has launched a comprehensive guide to aid young individuals in navigating the challenging job market.

The 480-page book, titled “The Job Seeker’s Companion: Proven Strategies to Landing Your Dream Job,” is set to be distributed freely, offering valuable insights across 40 chapters.

Magistrate Ngwana Yanic, known for his multifaceted expertise as a researcher, poet, and civil society administrator, expressed his motivation behind the initiative.

“I wrote this book to help Cameroonian youths searching for employment, those who want to start up a business, and those who want to travel abroad but don’t have money,” he told MMI.

“This book provides solutions to all the above-mentioned problems.”

The comprehensive guide covers a wide array of topics, including interview techniques, CV and grant writing, social media marketing, networking, personal branding, and entrepreneurial strategies.

These skills, according to the expert, are vital for any job seeker. His book comes at a time when unemployment remains a huge challenge for thousands of Cameroonian youth.

Magistrate Ngwana leaves no stone unturned, providing a wealth of information to equip readers with the necessary tools and knowledge to navigate the competitive landscape of the job market.

The author emphasises that the book is a humanitarian project and, as such, is offered as a “free gift to all Cameroonians.”

He encourages individuals within Cameroon to print and distribute the book, ensuring that it is done with the official cover page.

However, he specifies that the maximum profit per printed copy should not exceed FCFA 500, reinforcing the altruistic nature of the endeavour.

Moreover, the author strictly prohibits the free distribution of the book outside of Cameroon.
