Cameroonian MP, Nourane Foster promises to open restaurants for the underprivileged

A Cameroonian Member of Parliament, Nourane Foster has promised to establish restaurants for the less privileged in the country.

The information was disclosed on her Facebook page some days ago. In the post, the Cameroonian MP noted that the restaurants will be established as soon as possible if the Indomitable Lions won the game against Brazil.

She wrote, “Following the victory of the Indomitable Lions, I will put 10 million in equity so that the ‘ Restos du Cœur’ can see the light of day before the end of December 2022.”

Following the defeat of Brazil on Thursday, December 1, 2022, Nourane Foster reassured the public in a subsequent post that the project will be carried out.

“After the victory, back to reality, our daily realities. Thousand people in a situation of chronic or temporary vulnerability will benefit from a Meal of Heart from December 28, 2022,” she said adding, ” I make the commitment.”

The humanitarian and social project according to her will help thousands of underprivileged young people and women.

It is not clear yet how many such restaurants will be opened and how they will be effectively managed, considering that there are millions of such people prowling every city in Cameroon.

Some people have also questioned whether engaging in projects that empower people to seek their own food would not be better than giving them food.
