Cameroonian Professor voted second-best mathematician in the world

A Cameroonian Professor by name Abdon Atangana has been voted as the second-best mathematician in the world.


Atangana is a professor of Applied Mathematics at the Institute for Groundwater Studies at University of the Free State(UFS) in South Africa.


In 2020, the 37-year-old was recognised as one of 10 South Africa-based scientists in the top 1% of scientists on the global Clarivate Web of Science list.
