Cameroon’s Minister of Mines, Industries, and Technological Development has died.

Gabriel Dodo Ndoke was confirmed to have died on Friday night, January 20, 2023.

His death followed a brief illness after which he was admitted to the National Social Insurance Hospital in Yaounde, the capital city of Cameroon.

“The minister was strong and healthy, in fact, he received the Italian Ambassador to Cameroon during the day,” said a source, referring to the minister’s work schedule on Friday January 20th.

“But at midnight, the minister was unwell and was rushed to the hospital, while there he suffered a heart attack,” continued out source.

Minister Dodo Ndoke was confirmed dead early Saturday.

He died at the age of 52.
