Cameroon’s tech icon, Zuo Bruno honoured with African Achievement Award

Cyber security expert, Zuo Bruno has been bestowed the African Achievement Award in the Rising Tech Icon category.

Bruno who started from the seaside town of Limbe, South West Region of Cameroon was handed the award on Tuesday September 20, 2022.

“The 20th of September 2022 will go down in history as the day any Cameroonian was honoured as a recipient of the African Achievers Award,” Bruno remarked, reacting to the award.

He added that he was “…proud to bring this home to my people with one simple promise: ‘We are just getting started.”

Bruno who is founder and CEO of Zuoix shot to the spotlight during the notorious internet blackout ordered by the Cameroon government in the English speaking regions of the country.

He has since forged ahead, and today, tops the list of some of Cameroon’s most prominent tech names.
