On the sidelines of the 5th World Cocoa Conference in Brussels, the President of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire decorated the Cameroonian Minister of Trade. Mbarga Atangana was elevated to the rank of Commander of the National Order.

Magloire Mbarga Atangana was rewarded for his role in the transfer of the International Cocoa Organisation’s headquarters from London to Abidjan in 2017, as well as for his continuous efforts in favour of cocoa producers on an international scale.

The medal presented to Minister Atangana by Ali Coulibaly, Grand Chancellor of the National Order, highlights Cameroon’s unwavering commitment to African causes within international bodies.
