Douala-based pressman, Martin Camus Mimb is yet to find an end to his words over the trending sex tap scandal.
The RSI pressman is et to appear in court as part of legal action taken by a team of lawyers.
The lawyers of Malicka, a young girl whose nude pictures taken from Mimb’s office, say they filed a complaint at the Bonanjo Court of First Instance in Douala yesterday.
In a statement shortly after filing the complaint in court, the lawyer’s defending Malicka said their goal was to seek justice for the girl whose privacy had been violated.
“We have confidence in the Cameroonian justice system …” The lawyers noted, adding that they would go the full length to see that justice is served.
The court case files is just one of other challenges Camus Mimb faces. Over the past days, he has lost a lot of support, as artists and public figures that stood by him before have retracted their statements.
Several enterprises and institutions have also disavowed the Journalist for what the term ‘questionable character’.
Shortly after images and a sex tape of Malicka in Camus’ office emerged, he claimed he was being framed up and said he was considering legal action against her for defaming his person.
After much pressure from the media however, he apologised, acknowledging he also knew another individual spotted in the video, though he had earlier denied.
