The Canadian High Commissioner to Cameroon, Richard Bale and authorities of the North West Regional Assembly led by its president Prof Fru Angwafo have discussed development.
This was during a recent visit of the Canadian diplomat to the restive North West region. In the course of the meeting, the North West Regional Development Plan was presented to the ambassador.
“For partners like Canada, the next step is to go and digest that plan, to look, to see if there are areas to compliment,” Bale told reporters.
He further to urged other diplomats to visit the North West Region, despite the ongoing crisis. ” I know there are very few diplomats who travel to the North West Region. I know that my colleagues in Yaounde will be asking me, but how did you survive and I will be telling them so far, it’s entirely possible to visit the North West,” the vocal diplomat stated.
