Mutengene Accident results in no loss of life
No life has reportedly been lost in a car accident in Mutengene, a locality in the Fako division of the South West region.
A trailer, according to local reports, hit a private car while exiting the Mutengene market.
The accident occurred on the evening of Wednesday, August 9, 2023.
Eyewitness accounts say the trailer had just offloaded some goods in the market and was taking off when it hit a private car.
“An accident has just occurred in Mutengene main market this evening involving a trailer and a private car,” an eyewitness told MMI, adding, “The trailer had just finished offloading some goods in the market and was about to exit when the unforeseen accident occurred “
No life, according to our source, was lost.
However, “the private car was seriously damaged,” confirmed the eyewitness.
The situation was brought under control by the prompt arrival of law enforcement officers, as it occurred in the midst of heavy traffic.
