The Antoinette Kongnso hearing scheduled for today, December 8th, 2021, has been adjourned to tomorrow, December 9th, by the Buea Court of Appeal.
The defense counsel had hoped for her to be released on bail by the Appeal Court after today’s hearing, which unfortunately did not take place.
Before hoping for a possible bail release today, the defense counsel had filed an Appeal to counter the verdict of the Buea High Court but was not heard in Court as scheduled on December 1st, 2021.
Currently, the victim is by today’s adjournment, still subject to the six months remand warrant issued by the Buea High Court, until April 2022.
