Central African Refugee commits suicide in Douala

A refugee from the neighbouring insecurity-plagued Central African Republic, CAR, has committed suicide in Douala, Wouri division of the Littoral region.

The man’s corpse was found in an uncompleted building May 12,at the Yassa Entrée Universelle vicinity in the economic capital at sunrise today.

Acquaintances of the deceased told MMI that, the man had been living in an uncompleted building alongside some family members for a while now.

Some have linked the suicide action to trauma, disclosing that, not long ago, his girlfriend dumped him.

As at the time of this report, his identity was yet to be established.
