Centre Region: Principal assaults teacher in the presence of students

A mathematics teacher of the Government Bilingual High School Bokito in the Center region has been physically assaulted by the principal of the said institution in front of students.

According to the victim, the principal assaulted him following a misunderstanding that erupted between them.

He revealed to MMI that the principal claimed, “… the GCE Board produces mock papers. When I said it was not true, he slapped me on the jaw as he buttoned me.”

A medical result exclusively gotten by MMI, proved that the young man was indeed physically assaulted by the principal.

The action has left many to wonder about the type of message the principal is trying to pass to his students through such acts.
