Comedian amplifies #EndPhoneTax in Yaounde

An anti-phone tax campaign has been gaining momentum in Cameroon in the past days. Cameroonians have been protesting against a new phone tax policy, that went into effect on October 15th. The hashtag, #EndPhoneTax has been trending on Twitter and other social media platforms.

But one person has, however taken an extra bold step to show his dissatisfaction with the administrative move.

Comedian, Danny Green is pictured at Avenue Kennedy in the Cameroon nation’s capital, Yaounde, with a placard calling for an end to the tax. This comes after a group of youths announced plans to carryout a peaceful protest on the streets.
