Couple Killed by Separatists in Nacho removed from mortuary for burial

Mr. and Mrs. Simplice Longsti who were on Sunday, July 16th, 2023, killed by Separatist Fighters in Nacho, Bamend town have been removed from the city’s Regional Hospital Mortuary for burial.

The necessary rituals were carried out Tuesday, July 18, 2023 — after which a funeral mass was carried out in their honor at the Mortuary Chapel.

Their remains were then ferried to Balatchi, West Region Cameroon for burial.

Mr. and Mrs. Longsti were among the nine persons killed at Nacho Junction Sunday evening.

The government has vowed to punish the perpetrators.
