COVID-19: Cameroon Lifts Boarder Restrictions.

By Washira Helene

Cameroon’s Ministry of Public Health via a release signed by the Minister has announced that it is lifting all COVID-19 entry restrictions for the country.

This means that as of today, there is no longer a requirement to present a negative COVID-19 negative test result before entering Cameroon.

Manaouda Malachie’s decision to lift the restrictions follows the improving COVID-19 situation in Cameroon. The country has seen a significant decline in cases and deaths in recent months.

“We are pleased to announce that we are lifting all COVID-19 entry restrictions for Cameroon including the presentation of any COVID-19 Heath booklet to any border officer” the communiqué read.

The lifting of the entry restrictions is a welcome development for travelers who have been eager to visit Cameroon as they no longer need to present a negative COVID-19 test result.
