The production of chloroquine, azythromycine, hand sanitisers and face masks to help combat the coronavirus pandemic dominated talks as the French ambassador to Cameroon met with the Minister of Scientific Research and Innovation, Magdaleine Tchuenté.
This was during an audience the Minister granted Ambassador Christophe Guilhou on Friday.
The meeting comes barely few hours after President Paul Biya, who has been accused of abandoning Cameroonians during this trying moment, met with the diplomat to discuss anti-coronavirus measures.
With over one thousand coronavirus cases in Cameroon, the government has been expanding measures to curb the spread of the virus.
So far, close to 20 containment measures have been rolled out to curb further spread of the disease.
