CPDM suspends participation on Equinoxe TV

The information was revealed on the evening of Thursday, November 12, 2020 by Equinoxe TV journalist Serge Alain Ottou, host of daily evening program, Equinoxe Soir.

5 minutes into the start of the program, the journalist revealed he had received information from CPDM political analyst who was supposed to have participated in the program, Jacqueline Koyok that her party had decided to halt all its participation on Equinoxe TV.

The boycott of CPDM from Equinoxe TV follows some serious allegations to which apologies were demanded by the party from the media house.

Following a controversial interview done by Equinoxe TV with a lady who claimed to be a victim of the crisis of the Northwest and Southwest to which the CPDM party believes she was simply paid to give out these false testimony, Samuel Moth, CPDM member demanded a public apology from Equinoxe TV for airing such derogatory information. The party member said failure to issue the apology will force the party to rethink its participation on the TV.

The suspension of participation by the CPDM is also coincidental with the call from the Minister of Communication René Emmanuel Sadi for some programs aired by the media house to be suspended.
