D.O of Kumbo Central sub division deprives idps of foodstuffs.

The Divisional Officer for Kumbo Central Sub division has stopped the distribution of food stuff to internally displaced persons in Bamkikaay –Kumbo Bui Division in the North West region of Cameroon. Menyong Gilbert Sunday ordered workers of UNICEF take away assorted items purchased to help internally displaced persons this morning.
On Monday this week, the administrator equally stopped a benevolent group from offering assistance to needy people in Melim village still in Kumbo sub division.

Contacted on phone, the divisional officer said he owns no explanation to journalists for taking such a decision in his area of command.
Internally displaced persons in Kumbo Sub Division say since the appointment of Menyong Gilbert Sunday, he has denied access to many organizations wishing to help people in need.

Kumbo it should be noted is one of the hotspots of the Anglophone crisis with constant clashes between separatist fighters and the military.
