Pastor Ngoa Atangana Boniface has reportedly been arrested by the forces of law and order in Yaoundé. The man of God had caused a public backlash among Cameroonians after he made damaging xenophobic utterances against Anglophones and Bamilekes

The Senior Divisional Officer of Fako Division has prohibited nocturnal gatherings from the Fako Division beginning from December 15 to February 16. According to the SDO, it is a means of preventing security threats during the upcoming end of years festivities.

A corpse has been removed from a pit in Garoua by the firefighters brigade. Reports say the 21 year old victim is believed to have fallen into the pit some days back. Her body has been handed over to the police for further investigations.

The Yaounde City Council today inaugurated some 300 kiosks. The kiosks to be handed out to traders in the city, the mayor noted, is part of efforts to curb urban disorder. The 300 kiosks are part of a bigger scheme to deliver 700 of the structures.
