The Chairman of the Social Democratic Front, (SDF) party in the Littoral, has called for a protest in Douala on the eve of the African Cup of Nations. The protest is aimed at mounting pressure on the Yaounde government, to address the bloody conflict in the North West and South West Regions. Jean Michel Nintcheu is also urging the government release all political prisoners in the country.


Rev. Father Ludovic Lado has called for a boycott of the African Cup of Nations slated for January 9. The prelate says the Government should first resolve a couple of challenges plaguing the country including the Anglophone crisis, the release of political prisoners and address massive corruption.


Two kids have died in Douala yesterday after a brick wall collapsed on them. The children were working as labourers in an uncompleted house at the PK 17 neighbourhood when the tragedy happened. One of the kids died on the spot while the other was declared dead on the way to the hospital.




The Coalition for National Dialogue has announced it’s new leadership team following an election on December 28, 2021. The new team comes after a series of high profile resignations from the organisation including those of Dr. Julius Agbor and Dr. Denis Foretia. Read more on www.mimimefoinfo.com


State-owned Cameroon Radio Television, (CRTV) will in 2022, run on a budget of over 29 billion FCFA. CRTV Board of Directors made the decision today, at its 55th Ordinary Session today.



Reports say Aboubakar Vincent, Léa James Siliki, Stéphane Bahoken and Jean Junior Onana have been put on rest by the national team medical staff. Placed on rest for different reasons, they are among other members of the Indomitable lions squad currently in camp ahead of the African Cup of Nations tournament.


Zimbabwe is the latest team to arrive Cameroon ahead of the African Cup of tournament to kick-off early in January. Zimbabwe is paired in Group B, to be played in Bafoussam. In the group stages they will face Senegal, Malawi and Guinea.
