Today November 04, 2021, marks 39 years since former Cameroonian Head of State, Ahmadou Ahidjo resigned from power. Two days after his resignation, then Prime Minister Paul Biya succeeded him and has ruled Cameroon ever since.


At least eight students of Government High School Elig-Esono have been handed over to Gendarmes for possessing illicit drugs in school. The students were caught in possession of cannabis and other dangerous tools by the school authorities during a routine check on campus.
