Barrister Tamfu Richard has revealed that a woman who was harassed by Chief Ewome Eko in a viral video, is currently being detained at the Buea Central Prison. He has condemned her unlawful incarceration and promised to file a case against the Chief of Bwassa village.


The military have burnt at least 4 houses and killed 3 Amba fighters in Noni, North West Region. They raided the village early today morning in search of Self styled ‘General No Pity’. They were however unable to get hold of him.

Commercial motorbike riders today marched on the streets of Bamenda in the North West Region in protest against the killing of one of theirs. They said he had been crushed by a speeding military truck, and no one was punished for it.


There is outrage after a video went viral on social media, revealing torture being meted on detainees at a Gendarmerie facility in Mboppi, Douala. Security and administrative authorities are yet to comment on the said video. It is however not the first of its kind, as those in position of authority often maintain sealed lips.
