The National Anti Corruption Commission, CONAC says it has received at least 500 corrupt-related cases practiced in the school milieu across Cameroon. This comes barely a week after the new school year kicked off.




The Limbe Chapter of the Cameroon Association of English Speaking Journalists, CAMASEJ has put smiles on the faces of dozens of needy kids. The association assisted kids with didactic materials to facilitate their return to school this year.




There is confusion across the North West region as separatist fighters have announced a lockdown from September 15th to October 2nd. Many have condemned the move, saying lockdown calls have yielded no fruits for five years now. The lockdown is ahead of October 1, observed as day of mourning in Anglophone Cameroon.





A mutilated corpse has been found in Bambui, North West Region Cameroon. Locals believe the unidentified body is that of a family head who was recently kidnapped by gun men in the area. MMI could not confirm the claims.




Some students of the Higher Teachers Training College and the Higher Technical Teachers Training College of the University of Bamenda say they are unaware if they will be programmed for graduation. Last week, the Minister of Higher Education simply published the graduation list without mentioning when the event would hold. The students were supposed to graduate pending transfers before the start of the new academic year.
