Danay Agency bus collides with police truck in the Far North

A bus belonging to the Danay Agency has had an accident in Yagoua, Far North Region.

Reports say the Danay bus which had just left the agency and was bound for Ngaoundéré collided with a police truck that was entering the city.

While both vehicles recorded damages, included the destruction of the bus’ windscreen, no human life was lost.

Eyewitnesses have blamed the driver of the police truck for not respecting the highway code.

An investigation has been opened into the cause of the accident.
