The Population in Bonaberi Douala, the commercial city of Cameroon, rose against Gendarmes at Tanko after a couple was killed in an accident tonight.

The couple was being transported by a commercial motorcycle which was hit from behind as it was halted by the Gendarmes.

“The bike was carrying the man and his wife,” a source told MMI, adding that the population “rose against the Gendarmes after the fatal accident.”

“…the angry mob pounced on some of the gendarmes on duty, destroyed one of their vehicles, the presence of anti riot police spread teargass to disperse the population.”
