Douala: Pregnant woman murdered in her shop

Shock gripped residents and business owners at Ndokotti, one of the busiest parts of Douala this Friday, after the lifeless body of a pregnant woman was found in her shop.

She was reportedly “murdered in her shop by some yet to be identified individuals,” MMI has learned.

The tragic incident occurred at about 8:00 pm on the evening of Thursday, February 23, 2023.

“The woman was abandoned in her pool of blood by the unidentified thugs who took to their heels immediately after committing the heinous act,” a source told reporters in Douala.

Investigations have been opened.
