Douala: Three arrested for kidnaping and Torturing young girl

As part of the fight against crime in the economic capital, the forces of law and order have arrested a gang of three accused of organised kidnapping and tortures.

Their latest operation in Douala involved a young girl aged 23 years old called Henriette Yannicke Elono. The three suspects; Narcisse Nanfo, Elvis Ndogmo, and Aimé Yvan Sandje kidnapped the young girl and subjected her through several stages of torture before demanding for a 3 Million FCFA in ransom.

The suspects had lured the girl to Douala through a Platform on Facebook. The fake platform promised the girl a loan which she was expected to pay in some months. The naive girl made her way to Douala, eventually falling into the trap which was set for her.

After the kidnap, the thugs made a video in which they tortured the girl, and demanded for the ransom from her family. It was through that video that the police was able to trace their location and raid their hideout.

The girl was rescued alive and is currently receiving treatment from the injuries she got during her torture.
