Douala: Woman poisons two children in attempt to kill co-wife

The shocking incident which took place in the Douala 4 district on Tuesday, August 17, still has many persons wondering to what extends persons are willing to go for jealousy.

In a desperate attempt to sideline permanently her husband’s wife, the jealous woman, Rayanatou prepared a meal which she poisoned in the hope of giving it to her co-wife.

Unfortunately for the jealous woman, it is the neighbor, Vivian Simeu, and her 4 children who somehow ate the poisoned meal aimed for another.

At the time it was discovered what had happened, two of the four children had already died and the remaining two others in intensive health care.

The jealous wife, Rayanatou was swiftly arrested and detained at the Bojongo Gendarmerie Brigade. Investigations continue as it has also been revealed that Rayanatou herself confessed to targeting her co-wife with a yet to be disclosed grudge.
