Dr. François Marc Modzom Installed as New Director of ESSTIC.

Dr. François Marc Modzom was installed as the new director of the Higher School of Sciences and Techniques of Information and Communication (ESSTIC) in Cameroon this Monday, July 10, 2023.

The installation ceremony took place at the ESSTIC campus in Yaounde, in the presence of the rector of the University Of Yaounde II, the ESSTIC Board of Directors, and faculty members.Edu

Dr. Modzom is a seasoned journalist and media professional with over 30 years of experience. He is a graduate of ESSTIC, where he also taught for many years. He is also the author of several books on communication and journalism.

In his inaugural address, Dr. Modzom pledged to work to make ESSTIC a leading institution for the training of journalists and media professionals in Cameroon. He also promised to promote research and innovation in the field of communication.

“I am honored to be appointed as the director of ESSTIC,” Dr. Modzom said. “I am committed to making this institution a world-class center for the training of journalists and media professionals.”

It is important to note that Dr. François Marc Modzom was appointed director of ESSTIC a few days ago by presidential decree, and he was before then, the director of CRTV, central division.
