Early details emerge as Cameroon set to bury Music Icon, Fhish and his Manager, Feka Parchibell

Mbonjem Lesley Aponglen, known by his stage name ‘Fhish’ died on the spot along with his manager, Feka Parchibell in a car crash Thursday night while on their way to a show in Buea.

The 2021 Biggy 237 winner was the driver of the car he won while his manager was on the front seat. One other person on the back seat is said to be responding to treatment in a local hospital.

The accident is said to have resulted from excessive speed and subsequent collision of the deceased’s car with a static truck believed to be awaiting repairs.

According to a traveler who arrived at Tiko at about 10 pm yesterday, the accident occurred between 9:30 pm and 10 pm around the Misselele mixed security checkpoint.

The car was completely damaged. Feka was crushed beyond recognition after the accident.

The bodies of ‘Fhish’ and his manager are being preserved at the Tiko mortuary. The fate of the lone person believed to have survived death at the spot is yet to be determined.

As we went to press, a surgeon was piecing together the scattered remains of Feka Parchibell while her friends fundraise to give her a befitting farewell.
