East Region: Bus Crash with Truck Claims Lives of at Least 6

A bus has collided with a heavy-duty truck in Kobila, a locality in the East Region of Cameroon, resulting in at least six dead.

The collision occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, August 8, 2023, between a truck and a bus from the “Avenir de la KADEY” transport agency.

According to witnesses, the Avenir de la Kadey bus was coming from Yaoundé while the truck was coming in the opposite direction.

In total 06 deaths were recorded with several injured, some of whom are under intensive care at the Doume District Hospital.
