East region: half of high school population pregnant!

Reports say about half the number of female students in a high school in Djang, East region of cameroon have been tested pregnant.

The new Senior Divisional Officer for the Lom and Djerem division, Donatien Boyomo is said to have made the revelation.

The students concerned in the school of close to 500 students, are said to be aged between 15 and 20.

The recent happening, media reports quite the administrator, are proof that the sexual awareness campaigns by authorities have been going down the drain.

The Djang locality it should be recalled has for the past weeks now witnessed a number of other unusual happenings that have left many bewildered.

Days back the body of a 32-year-old man was found with genitals and heart plucked out.

Opening investigations into the discovery, security agents said they suspected it the organs were harvested for occultic practices.

Several cases of juvenile delinquency have also been reported in the locality, becoming one of the key tasks the new Senior Divisional Officer would have to take off his desk.
