Ebolowa: Ex-convict Arrested For Murder of 9-Year-Old

Reports say an ex-convict called Warren has been arrested in Ebolowa, South Region of Cameroon for allegedly butchering a 9-year-old boy to death.

The body of the lifeless boy called Moise Mbou is said to have been discovered on the side of the road by passersby on November 14, 2021.

Reports say the kid was sent to the market by his mother to go sell cassava leaves when he met Warren. It is believed that Warren asked the boy to hand over the money he had made from selling the cassava leaves.

An inhabitant is said to have told the agents of laws and order that Warren took the boy to a nearby bush, where he pulled out a machete and butchered Moise Mbou with. He is also said to have stayed at the scene till he was discovered by someone who then alerted the public.

The angry population according to The Guardian Post Newspaper, seized Warren and manhandled him. He was only saved with the arrival of the forces of law and order.

The suspect is expected to appear in court in the days ahead, as security operatives dig further to uncover hidden truths behind his actions.
