Edea: Body of young girl found in decomposing state in her room

Residents of Pongo Cimetière in Edea woke up on Sunday, May 14, to the shocking discovery of the decomposing corpse of Princess Essombe, said to have been in her twenties.

Neighbors discovered her body in her room days after she disappeared from public view.

The say they last saw her on Wednesday, May 10.

“Several neighbors thought she moved out until the smells in her room started attracting the neighborhood this morning,” revealed an MMI reporter.

They were shocked to discover her body in the room after breaking the door.

“She had her feet and hands tied up with an unrecognizable face,” said a neighbor who said he saw the body.

Law enforcement officers who arrived at the scene helped in to evacuate and bury the body.

Meanwhile, an investigation is underway with the Public Prosecutor of Edea.
