Edea: Student on the run after near-fatal machete attack on classmate

A student of Lycée de Ossombah in Edea, Littoral Region of Cameroon is on the run after attacking his classmate with a machete.

According to sources, It all started with a dispute between the two students of ‘terminal A4’ (upper sixth) yesterday Thursday afternoon at about 10:00PM.

“After this heated argument which eventually led to a fight, the two students separated. It was then that the second came back in the night with a machete to kill his opponent,” an MMI French reporter revealed.

The aggressor struck the victim two machete blows on the arm and the head, before running off.

According to several witnesses, the two students were arguing about which area is the most beautiful in the locality, when the fight broke out.

The attacker is still on the run, while the victim is in intensive care in the hospital.
