Edge construction inches close to completion of Bambui-Bambili road

By Timfuchi Aaron

Construction works along the Bambui-Bambili road in the Tubah subdivision have intensified after road users criticised the company in charge of works. Edge Construction, they said, was carrying out the work in a snail-like pace.

Grading is currently going on along the stretch from the University of Bamenda to three corners Bambili.

Officials of the construction company, say works are expected to be completed by mid-March when the rainy season resumes.

There have been numerous complaints particularly from students, business persons, and other users of the road about the poor state of the road that provokes excessive dust rendering some road users sick.

With the imminent tarring of the road now visible, some of the road users have expressed optimism that things will change in the days ahead.

The road has been a nightmare especially for students who study in Bambili.
