Employee disappears after stealing 70 million, setting boss’s shop ablaze

An employee by the name of Kayo Sop Rodrigue is currently on the run after stealing the sum of 70 million and setting his master’s shop ablaze.

The dramatic incident is said to have taken place at Ancien 3ème, Douala in the Littoral Region of Cameroon.

According to reports, the young man was reputed to be calm, honest, and hardworking. His gentleness, it is reported, was able to motivate his boss to leave for the village, entrusting his business into the hands of the young man.

Kayo Sop, promised his boss that he would take good care of the business in his absence.

After the boss’s departure, Kayo Sop grabbed the sum of 70 million which was kept in the shop and set it on fire before taking off.

Thanks to closed-circuit television footage, the young man could be spotted setting the shop ablaze and making away with the bag of money.

Meanwhile, the boss who is said to have had a shock necessitating hospitalisation, is currently unconscious as he is unable to recognize any of his family members.
